So much has changed about the publishing industry since the advent of the internet and the Kindle–how do publishers keep up? What challenges are these new avenues presenting to traditional publishing companies and writers? And is the open press movement adding extra pressure to especially academic publishers? Sherri Hope Culver has a discussion on these topics with two guests who run publishing companies: Mary Rose Muccie, the Director of the Temple University Press, and Kristin Kiser of Running Press Books, both headquartered in Philadelphia.
