Bringing Media Coverage of College Sports to Kids

Jennifer Quagliariello (MSP) has centered her project around finding new ways to bring the excitement of college sports to younger audiences. Building on the idea of making media more engaging and accessible for children, Rebecca Clark (MSP) directed her research toward a genre not typically developed for younger audiences—a talk show. Her project, Past Your Bedtime, examines what a fun and educational talk show designed specifically for kids might look and sound like.

Evaluating the Effectiveness of Closed Captions and Subtitles in Children’s Television
