Sherri Hope Culver presents at international conference

Sherri will be participating in the Media and Information Literacy and Intercultural Dialogue (MILID) Conference in Barcelona, Spain, May 22-25, 2012.  She is an invited speaker on a panel discussing international youth media and a panel discussing methods of promoting media and information literacy globally.  She has co-authored a paper with Dean Tom Jacobson titled, “Media Literacy And It’s Use As A Method To Encourage Civic Engagement”.  https://milidweek-eng.blogspot.com.es/

This conference is the first MILID week as part of the UNITWIN Cooperation Programme on Media and Information Literacy and Intercultural Dialogue (UNESCO – United Nations Alliance of Civilizations), which integrates eight universities from all continents. Temple University is one of the designated global chairs.
