International Expert Conference in Media and Information Literacy

The International Expert Conference in Media and Information Literacy will take place November 29-30, 2021.

The theme of the conference is “AUDIENCE MEDIA AND INFORMATION LITERACY: Ten Years of Achievements and the Way Forward”The conference will include:

  • Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Fez Declaration on Media and Information Literacy (2011-2021) 
  • Recognition of the 10th Edition of the Global Media and Information Literacy Week (Global MIL Week 2021)

The Conference invites Media and Information Literacy experts, academics, educationists, practitioners,  journalists, fact-checkers, civil society actors, international, regional and national organizations, policy-makers, NGOs and other concerned stakeholders from different backgrounds and experiences, to share their best practices on Media and Information Literacy in the last decade and prospects for the decade ahead.

The Center for Media and Information Literacy is a partner in this conference.
