In this keynote, Sherri will discuss her list of the ten most meaningful questions of media literacy developed through her work with UNESCO’s Global Media and Information Literacy Alliance, and her recent Fulbright research on media for children and youth.
Can we truly define “quality media”? How does this concept deepen our understanding and awareness of the influence of media on our thinking and behavior? Sherri will explore how the development of media literacy skills could lead to more intentional consumption and ultimately, a more positive world.
