Trust Me is a feature-length documentary and media literacy educational program that explores manipulation and misinformation. The documentary contains interviews with many experts in the field of media literacy, including Michelle Cuilla Lipkin, Renee Hobbs, and director of the CMIL, Sherri Hope Culver.
The documentary takes the viewer inside three stories with media literacy at their center. It explains how media literacy can be used to lessen polarization, foster resilience and democracy.
The film is produced by the Getting Better Foundation, whose mission is to build trust through the truth and support of media literacy education. Sherri serves on the Advisory Board of the Getting Better Foundation
Licensing is available and includes 15 classroom friendly film clips, K-12 Curriculum, Parent and Collegiate Discussion Guides, written by News Literacy Project with support from the John S. & James L. Knight Foundation.
