Ep 69 – Educational Podcasts

Jan 17, 2024

This episode aired on January 29th, 2024 at 12:00 pm.

There are lots of ways to think about educational podcasts, but at their core, they are teaching someone some thing. The host of Media Inside Out, Sherri Hope Culver, produces her own educational podcast called Kids Talk Media. In each episode, she interviews two best friends between the age of 5 and 13 about the media they love. Kids Talk Media is meant to be educational for parents. Parents can learn what kids are really doing online, and learn how to talk to their kids about their media use. On today’s episode of Media Inside Out, we will explore the unique experience of educational podcasts; those produced by professors and produced by other experts, in which they explore and advise on specific — sometimes very specific — educational topics. Each of our guests has produced an educational podcast and will share their experience and expertise. Let’s go inside!
